The Iranian Government has issued an arrest warrant to the U S President Mr Donald Trump and some more people due to the reason that one of the Iranian Army Chief Qassem Soleimani was killed in a drone strike by the US on 3rd January 2020. It has sought the assistance of Interpol in this regard. Iran accused them of their involvement in the drone strike killing Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad and make them face murder and terrorist charges as informed by the Tehran prosecutor.
The prosecutor has emphasised only on Mr Trump and made it clear that its efforts of prosecution will continue even if the presidency comes to an end. There was a no response so far from Interpol in France against request made by Iran.
Mr Trump and others should face the high level arrest claim by Iran to Interpol and put up a "red notice" on behalf of Iran's request.
One of the special representative of U S for Iran was of negative view during a conference in Saudi Arabia yesterday. He clarifies that this is not a serious claim at all and giving no weightage to it.
